Bollywood Singer Palash Muchhal Faces Fraud Allegations, Denies Claims
Bollywood singer Palash Muchhal finds himself at the center of a major controversy as filmmaker Vigyan Mane publicly accuses him and his mother of fraud and financial mismanagement. The allegations stem from a supposed film project for which Mane claims to have invested a significant amount of money that was never returned.
According to Vigyan Mane, a friend of Indian women's cricket team star Smriti Mandhana, Palash Muchhal allegedly took millions of rupees for a film that never materialized. Mane reportedly invested around ₹40 lakhs in the project after being introduced to Muchhal by Smriti Mandhana's father, Srinivas Mandhana. Mane was allegedly assured that his investment would be returned with profit.
However, as time passed, the film did not begin production, and the invested money was not repaid. Mane claims that when he pressed for repayment after six months, Palash's mother increased the film's budget from ₹55 lakhs to ₹1.5 crore. Later, Palash allegedly promised to return the money after his marriage to Smriti Mandhana. When their engagement was called off, Palash reportedly stopped responding to Mane's calls. Mane also alleges that Palash's mother blackmailed him and threatened to remove his character from the film when he demanded his money back. The situation escalated when Palash allegedly requested an additional ₹1 lakh, and eventually, completely cut off communication with Mane.
Following these events, Vigyan Mane filed a police report against the singer.
In response to the mounting accusations, Palash Muchhal has broken his silence. Taking to his Instagram story, Muchhal categorically denied all allegations, stating that the claims made by Vigyan Mane are "false" and lack "any truth." He asserted that these actions are an attempt to tarnish his reputation and warned that he would not spare those making these accusations. Muchhal confirmed that his legal team has initiated action, and the matter will be handled "legally and seriously."
The unfolding drama leaves the public wondering what the next turn in this high-profile case will be, as Muchhal’s legal action suggests a prolonged battle ahead.
