Academic Qualification Required:

Selection Process
- Shortlisting on basis of normalized marks in qualifying degree (BE/B.Tech upto 5th semester; all semesters for M.Sc./MCA).

- Medical Examination as per Indian Navy standards.
- Final Merit List is published based on SSB performance and clearance stages.
Training & Tenure
- Rank upon Induction: Sub-Lieutenant
- Training Period: 6 weeks at INA Ezhimala followed by professional naval training.
- Initial Tenure: 10 years extendable to 14 years (in 2-year increments based on performance and requirement).
- Probation: 2 years from date of commissioning.
- Note: Marriage during training leads to discharge and salary recovery.

- Basic Pay: ₹56,100/- per month (Sub-Lieutenant, Level 10) plus allowances.
