Mahindra XUV 3XO Launched in Australia: AX5L Priced from AUD 23,490 (Approx. Rs 13.18 Lakh)!

Sydney, Australia – July 5, 2025: Indian automotive giant Mahindra has officially rolled out its highly anticipated compact SUV, the Mahindra XUV 3XO, in the Australian market.

Following its successful launch in India, the XUV 3XO is now available for Australian consumers in two appealing variants: AX5L and AX7L. The company has introduced the SUV with competitive introductory prices, positioning it as a strong contender in Australia's burgeoning compact SUV

The introductory price for the Mahindra XUV 3XO AX5L variant starts at AUD 23,490, which translates to approximately ₹13.18 Lakh in Indian currency. The top-spec AX7L variant is priced at AUD 26,490, roughly ₹14.87 Lakh. These special introductory prices are valid until August 31, 2025, after which both variants will see an increase of AUD 500.

  • The Mahindra XUV 3XO was officially launched in Australia on July 3, 2025, with sales commencing from July 4, 2025.

  • AX5L: AUD 23,490 (approx. ₹13.18 Lakh)

    • These introductory prices are applicable until August 31, 2025. From September 1, 2025, prices for both AX5L and AX7L variants will increase by AUD 500.

    • Note: "Drive-away" pricing in Australia typically includes all on-road costs such as taxes and registration.

3. Engine & Performance:

  • The Australian-spec XUV 3XO is exclusively offered with the 1.2-litre turbocharged multi-point fuel injection (TCMPFi) petrol engine.

  • This engine delivers 82 kW (approximately 110 bhp) of power and 200 Nm of torque.

  • It is paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, sending power to the front wheels. There is no manual gearbox option available in Australia.

  • The combined fuel consumption is rated at approximately 6.5 litres/100 km.

  • The exterior design of the Australian model mirrors that of the India-spec XUV 3XO, featuring signature C-shaped LED DRLs, a bold front grille, new LED headlamps, a connected tail-lamp bar, and dual-tone alloy wheels.

  • The AX5L variant comes with 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, while the AX7L boasts larger 17-inch dual-tone wheels and a contrasting black roof.
